Please tell us your name, the address of where you live or the address of your business (if you are based in Baldock, Bygrave or Clothall) and an email address.

By joining the group you will be sent regular updates on progress and you will be able to vote in elections of the members of the committee.  The current Committee members can be seen on the About page.

The more people from Baldock, Bygrave & Clothall that register to join the group, the stronger we can make the case for the group to become officially recognised by the council to carry out the planning work.

Be assured that you will not be volunteering for work (unless you want to!) – just showing that you support the work of the group. This is really important as we need to be able to show that we are supported by the town.

Volunteer to help

If you would like to, there will be many opportunities to get involved in some of the varied tasks the group will need to undertake, and contribute your own knowledge and expertise in any relevant areas.

If you have or know of anyone who lives locally who has skills that may be relevant, please get in touch. If you are a local business with expertise or resources that you could give to the project we would very much like to hear from you.

Please get involved and help to make the plan truly representative of how the people of Baldock, Bygrave and Clothall, want to see their community develop.

Privacy Policy

If you have consented to sign up to the Baldock Bygrave and Clothall Planning Group, we will keep details of your name, address, email address and telephone numbers, if you have supplied them. We also have a record of the date that you consented to join the group, which would either have been by completion of a sign-up form or an email that you sent to info@bbplan.co.uk. If at any time you wish to withdraw your consent you can email info@bbplan.co.uk with your details and we will remove you from the register and not send you any further information. 

Your information is only accessible to the committee of the group. It is not shared with any other body or person. It is only used to inform you of upcoming events directly related to the business of the Baldock, Bygrave and Clothall Planning Group.

Up until May 2018, we have been using an emailing system called MailChimp which we used to send out newsletters and information to you. In the light of the new Data Protection policies, in order to be able to give you an absolute assurance, we have decided to cease this process. Mailchimp has strict privacy policies and we have no reason to believe that Mailchimp has passed on any data but as a voluntary organisation we think it is unnecessary to take on this responsibility.

Emails are sent specifically to you. Your email address is not sent to anyone else on the mailing list (blind copied or otherwise).
